Forming the Educator:
A Parent Book Club
Parents at the Feast
At Ambleside, the objective is to invite parents into their children’s education. Our hybrid design is a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between teachers, parents, and the Charlotte Mason Educational philosophy. Coming 2026, we are so excited to share the launch of our monthly book discussion meeting on campus.
Teachers and parents will be reading the book “For the Children's Sake” by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay together, and meeting once a month to discuss the ideas. Each meeting will end with some practical ideas about homeschooling on the hybrid days and answer any questions parents might have about in class lessons.
Childcare, coffee, and refreshments will be provided. Building a bridge of communication between parents, the philosophy, and the teachers is essential in this hybrid model of education! Attendance is strongly encouraged for teachers and parents.
This union and involvement is essential for this hybrid model of education to be successful.
